Among the lawsuits in which the businessman accuses advertisers of lost profits, global ones should be highlighted separately – in relation to Media Matters for America and the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), about which reminds Gizmodo.

Musk believes it’s not a matter of advertisers not wanting to post next to inappropriate content (which is what members of these associations are monitoring), but that groups are conspiring to “collectively deprive X billion dollars of advertising revenue.”

Unilever, which has not officially commented on the matter, was able to reach an agreement, according to X’s account: “Today’s news is part of the solution for the entire ecosystem, and we look forward to further solving problems in the industry.”

Advertising market analysts are still finding it difficult to say how to evaluate this news: either Unilever had to pay to get out of the lawsuit, or the corporation simply decided to return to the platform with its advertising.

According to various estimates, X has lost at least 80% of its advertising revenue since Musk became CEO.
