Elsa The Brand launches toilet-friendly jumpsuit and Savara Intimates launches prosthesis bra

Positive fashion news deserves extra attention. That is why FashionUnited highlights a number of noteworthy messages every two weeks. Today, Elsa The Brand, Savara Intimates and Ugg deserve a podium.

Elsa The Brand launches toilet-friendly jumpsuit

A jumpsuit often exudes elegance, luxury and style, but wearing such a suit is not always convenient. For example, toilet visits in public places or during events are a lot less pleasant. Elsa The Brand came up with something for that: The toilet-friendly jumpsuit.

The idea to design the toilet-friendly jumpsuit came from frustration. “Specifically, it was the frustration of women feeling half-undressed and stuck in a crowded public toilet, with no one around to help them zip up their jumpsuit.”

Elsa The Brand is launching what it claims is the first toilet-friendly jumpsuit in the Netherlands. The launch is accompanied by a collection that includes three toilet-friendly jumpsuits – the elegant ‘Camille’, the sleeveless ‘Elaiza’ and the adventurous ‘Olivia’. The garment features ‘invisible zippers’ on both sides and has an attached belt that accentuates the waist, according to the press release. The jumpsuit is designed with an eye for practicality, but does not compromise on style.

Savara Intimates launches first prosthesis bra

October is known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Savara Intimates is launching its first prosthesis bra on the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the sustainable lingerie brand announced in a press release.

Michelle Jamoneau, founder of Savara Intimates, received a lot of requests for prosthesis lingerie. She delved into the subject and discovered that the current prosthesis lingerie offering is often outdated, not stylish and not sustainable. Jamoneau’s mission is to make lingerie for all women, so it also became her mission to provide women with breast prostheses with beautiful lingerie, she writes.

She went to investigate and made her sample, which she had tested by a woman with a breast prosthesis. After enthusiastic reactions, now is the time for the prosthesis bra to be added to her collection.

Ugg Teams Up With Collina Strada to Introduce First Vegan Boots

Ugg has teamed up with New York label Collina Strada to launch a seven-piece collection of the first vegan Ugg boots.

The boots are made from sugarcane, Tencel, and recycled polyester microfiber. As for the design, the boots feature eye-catching prints designed by Collina Strada’s founder and creative director Hillary Taymour.
