ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has made available today, July 22nd, the ROG Ally Xthe latest model of the popular ROG Ally portable console. With significant improvements in hardware, ergonomics and connectivity, ROG Ally X is designed to deliver an unprecedented gaming experience. With expanded storage, boosted RAM and extended battery lifethis console is destined to become the reference point for gamers on the go.
More storage and faster RAM
One of the main new features of ROG Ally X is storage upgrade. Equipped with a 1TB M.2 2280 SSD, this console offers double the space compared to the previous model, allowing you to install more games without space issues. The 24GB LPDDR5X-7500 RAM ensures high level performanceallowing the system and GPU to share memory for greater efficiency in newer games that require significant amounts of VRAM.
Longer battery life
The 80Wh battery represents another significant improvement over the original model, allowing extended gaming sessions without the need for frequent charging. Despite the increase in battery capacity, the weight of the console has only increased by 70 grams, maintaining excellent portability and an ergonomic design that distributes weight optimally.

ROG Ally X’s chassis design has been completely reworked to improve ergonomics and comfort during use. The new joysticks, more resistant and durableoffer a more precise response, while deeper, rounded grips provide a better grip. Redesigned macro buttons minimize accidental presses while maintaining accessibility. Connectivity has been significantly improved with the introduction of two USB-C® ports, including one Thunderbolt compatible, offering greater flexibility for using docks and external GPUs.
Improved thermals
ROG Ally X features an advanced cooling system with smaller fans and thinner blades that push up to 24% more air through a third intake. This innovative thermal solution ensures that the device remains cool to the touch, with a reduction in touch screen temperature of up to 6°C, improving user comfort during long gaming sessions.
Availability and prices
ASUS ROG Ally X is available from today, July 22, at a price of €899 on ASUS e-shop and at ASUS Gold Stores. It will also be available from August 6th at MediaWorld and subsequently on Amazon and major electronics retailers.
