He couldn’t stay. Although the production had spoken of a temporary release on November 11th, this was not the case. Enzo Paolo Turchi bursts into tears at Big Brother: leaves the House forever. On live TV he explains his reasons to the other tenants. His daughter Maria is also waiting for him outside, together with his wife Carmen Russo.
Already last month the 75-year-old was ready to withdraw, then provisional entry to GF of Carmen had stopped him: the 65-year-old had asked him to stay, even though he felt the excruciating absence of their 11-year-old daughter. This time the farewell to reality TV is definitive.
Enzo Paolo returns to the House to announce his retirement and explain everything to the others in front of the cameras. “Unfortunately it happens… missing my family, my life, my daughter”he says in front of the red door. “I heard someone say I’m leaving because there’s a play, but it’s over. I only go out for my family. After solving some very serious problems. My exit is permanent”he adds.
“We promised ourselves that, if you decided to, you would do it without theatrics and I really appreciated this. In the end it was right, you’ll be the one to tell your teammates tonight.”Alfonso Signorini underlines. The dancer thus enters the House.
The contestants watch him cry and are moved in turn. “Hi guys, it’s clear… I leave the house. I miss my family very much. I tried to hide, but it wasn’t easy. I always said that I won the GF when they called me and every week that I overcame very serious problems I had inside. I solved them also thanks to you that you gave me strength because it was hard. You all gave me strength. I hope I have left you something that can be useful to you in life. I didn’t give advice, I just brought my experience, passing on my experience to you. What can I tell you?”Enzo Paolo tells him.
In tears he continues: “Everything you have given me has helped me a lot. I haven’t forgotten my problems but I was finally able to talk about them with someonewithout any interest. This is just a game. Thanks to Alfonso and Big Brother who gave me this nice opportunity to greet you. Maybe I’ll come back to give you some dance lessons. But now I really have to go and don’t change.”
Signorini supports it: “I’m talking about you as a man, not as a competitor. You entered in one way and you leave with some more certainty. I make your wish mine. Everything you organized in terms of dance was very enjoyable for the audience and therefore you will be able to enter the House to do it. Now I’ll tell you what, look who’s on the catwalk”. The dancer he sees his daughter Maria, runs out to hug her again. Carmen Russo is also with the girl. They are all excited and happy to be united.
