Erdogan pointed to ‘inflation’, spoke optimistically for 2025

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with NGO representatives and businessmen after the 8th Ordinary Congress of the AK Party Kayseri Provincial Directorate.

Stating that this momentum achieved despite the turmoil in the region and the uncertainties in the global economy undoubtedly makes the picture more meaningful, Erdoğan stated that they have started to see the positive effects of the programs they implemented in the economy.

The President continued: “There is no problem on the export, employment and production side. Our external balance is improving, our need for external financing is decreasing. We are healing the wounds of the earthquake. Both our public debt and foreign debt are decreasing compared to national income.”

Erdoğan stated that this year will be a year of records in tourism and said, “We have reached a certain stage in the fight against inflation. We will get much better results in 2025.” he said.
