Erik Ahnger (DI) has been appointed Bittium development director and member of the management team. He will start his position no later than January 7, 2025. Ahnger moves to Bittium from Patria, where he most recently served as Group Development Director and was responsible for group strategy and acquisitions.
Previously, he has worked, among other things, as an investment manager At Helmet Capital and as a business management consultant at PwC.
“We started a strategic change process at Bittium at the end of 2023, the aim of which was to turn the company’s operating model from product development-oriented to a growth-oriented and customer-oriented operating model. The work has progressed systematically and now we are investing in the next phase, achieving future growth. I am very happy to welcome Erik to our team at this stage. His previous experience in strategy work brings added value to all three business segments. His expertise in the defense market in particular is very valuable to us,” CEO of Bittium Johan Westermarck says in the announcement.
