Vocalist Erika Vikman states that he no longer intended to participate in the New Music Competition. In other words, striving for Eurovision had to be a life left behind.
Erika talks about it in her social media post on Instagram.
– I had already made peace between myself and UMK: let Cicciolina remain the only golden memory in my UMK history, even if the dream of Eurovision was still lurking deep in my heart.
However, this is how Erika went to the competition:
“Last spring, the song wizards @christelroosberg and @jorisjoroos dropped into my arms such a piece of music that my heart skipped a beat and a familiar feeling of dread took over my body. I realized that HERE WE GO AGAIN. There was nothing to do, application papers in and… ICH KOMME!”
Erika, who is gaining popularity like a rocket, is the tango queen of 2016. He was 25 years old at the time. His well-known songs include “Sinstene pöyta” and “Cicciolina”.
At the age of 15, Erika won the Tangojuniori competition and in the following years participated in singing competitions such as Idols and acted in both dramas and musicals.

Love life
Erika dated the singer Danny some years ago. The entertainment tycoon helped Erika get into the public eye and into the entertainment industry.
Recently, Erika is known to be dating a doctor from Ostrobothnia.
Age is just a number. At least that’s what older men bring up in their speeches when they are asked about their relationships with younger women.
Erika Vikman has said that she likes older men. In the Veitola night village series, he has stated:
– I think they are more charismatic and don’t fumble anymore.
The age difference between Erika and her gynecologist lover is significantly smaller than the relationship with Danny. Now the age difference is only about twenty years. Erika is known to be dating a doctor whose specialty is gynecology.
