Swedish studios River End Games recently presented a very generous trailer for their next tactical and stealth action title, Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream.
Straight from Sweden, from the city of Gothenburg, the tactical action adventure, Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream, is about to be released. With the seal of the River End Games studios, there should be no lack of quality as the team is made up of elements that have previously worked on titles such as Battlefield 2, Need for Speed Rivals, Mirror's Edge, Battlefront 2 or Battlefield 4 among many others, for example . As an important note, the game is being developed using the Unreal engine 5.
As you can see from the images below, Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is a tactical game with a strong focus on stealth and which has an isometric perspective. According to those responsible for River End Games, all the tactical and stealthy action that characterizes the title is accompanied by a deep and captivating narrative that will spark players' curiosity and interest.
Players will join the adventure of Hanna, the main character, in the vibrant and extremely well-designed city of Eriksholm. It all starts with the mysterious disappearance of his brother, Herman, which sets off a chain of catastrophic events that will forever change their lives and the fate of the entire city.
Hanna's (and her controllable friends) adventure in Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream takes you through the vibrant streets of Eriksholm, a sprawling Nordic city inspired by the elegance and beauty of early 20th century Scandinavian cities. But don't be fooled. Each shadow can offer a hiding place, but also a danger or a new challenge. Allies and quick reflexes are the best weapons that players will have to know how to use to uncover the city's secrets and overcome their pursuers.
This now revealed video invites players and onlookers to enjoy a richly created and designed urban landscape for the city of Eriksholm, where the action takes place. Also presented are the game's main protagonists Hanna, Alva and Sebastian and the creative way in which they can interact with the surrounding environments, whether to hide, launch stealth attacks or simply observe what is happening.
It is also possible to see a set of stealth mechanics that players have at their disposal to move invisibly around the city and carry out many stealth missions that will be given to them.
Each main protagonist of the adventure has their own abilities and skills but also wields specific weapons and tools, which increases complexity and tactical diversity.
Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream will be released later this year, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, with no concrete date yet.
