Estifam Banwol Campus Receives Ecovadis ‘Gold’ Medal

(Health Korea News / Yu Ji-in) ST Pharm’s Banwol Campus won a gold medal at EcoVadis.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most credible global sustainability assessment organization, evaluating over 130,000 companies in 180 countries in four areas: ▲Environment ▲Labor & Human ▲Ethics ▲Sustainable Procurement.

Based on this, Platinum (top 1%), Gold (top 5%), Silver (top 15%), and Bronze (top 35%) medals are awarded.

Estifarm is establishing a systematic management system and promoting activities by setting tasks for each area from a mid- to long-term perspective.

On May 31st of last year, Estifarm declared social responsibility management and established the ‘Estifarm Management Ethics Code’ containing the principles of management activities and methods of implementation. In order to evaluate and review the performance of activities for the sustainability of Estifarm’s social responsibility management, the ‘Estifarm Social Responsibility Performance Report’ consisting of 45 KPIs is published annually.

As a result, he won a gold medal for the first time in five years after winning a bronze medal in 2019 and a silver medal in 2022.

In order to strengthen sustainability, ST Pharm established a Sustainability Management Team in March and is currently establishing a reporting system in accordance with global standards. It is also establishing climate change response governance and SBTi-based carbon emission reduction targets and strategies that can flexibly respond to various risks caused by climate change.
