Yellow Brick Games announced that a free demo version of its first game, Eternal Strands, will be released on January 21, one week before the game’s release. announced. Eternal Strands is the new game of former Dragon Age leader Mike Laidlaw. Laidlaw later founded Yellow Brick Games to make this engaging fantasy third-person action/adventure game.
The story follows Brynn, a young magic weaver and treasure hunter who tries to unravel the secrets of the Enclave with the help of her friends. Long ago, the Enclave was the center of magical development, trade, innovation, and social life. However, after mysterious disasters spread throughout the Mayda region, she sealed herself behind a magical wall known as the Veil. Now it’s up to Brynn and the other weavers to uncover their secrets.
Although there will be dialogue choices despite Laidlaw’s past, there will be no major moral choices that lead to different endings. The action is expected to be entertaining. According to the studio, Eternal Strands can be played for a reasonable period of time, between 25 and 35 hours. More content will be added to the game after the January 28 launch, including a partnership to design a new set of Epic creatures, weapons, and armor.
