EuroBLECH 2024 and new ways of engaging in productivity

Thousands of exhibits and four days of intensive product sourcing, networking and learning. The field of sheet metal processing is preparing for the event setting the bar – the fair Eu­ro­BLECH 2024 showcases the world’s largest selection of sheet metal processing technologies in one place. Visitors can look forward to a ground-breaking event at the heart of the industry, which is reflected in this year’s motto “The Power of Productivity”, as well as prime access to top suppliers, live demonstrations and world premieres.

Visitor registration has just opened for EuroBLECH – the 27th International Trade Fair for Sheet Metal Processing Technology, which takes place from October 22 to 25, 2024 at the Hanover Exhibition Center. It is the world’s largest trade fair for sheet metal processing, covering the entire supply chain in 15 different technology sectors in nine exhibition halls. This year’s edition focuses on productivity-enhancing technologies, and presents the latest that the market has to offer in the field of increasing production and efficiency while adapting individual production processes to the complex requirements of smart manufacturing.

The upcoming event will offer approximately 90,000 square meters of net exhibition space, allowing direct access and networking with suppliers from renowned companies and SMEs from around the world, with more than 60% of exhibitors coming from abroad. In addition to Germany, the main exhibiting countries for 2024 include Italy, Turkey, China, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Taiwan, Poland, Belgium, Austria, India, France and the USA. Well-known brands such as Adige, AIDA, Amada, Bystronic, Dimeco, Durma, Haco, LVD, Messer Cutting Systems, Pivatic, Prima Power, Salvagnini, Schuler, Thyssen, TRUMPF, Yamazaki Mazak and many others will be present on the exhibition floor. In addition, these will be supplemented by highly specialized small and medium-sized enterprises as well as exhibitors, who will demonstrate their innovative power on the market at their premiere.

The exhibitions cover everything related to the processing of semi-finished and finished products, including sheets, tubes, profiles and plastic hybrids. Visitors will have a variety of opportunities to learn about the latest technologies in stamping, punching, pressing, forming, cutting, joining, welding, fastening, handling, finishing, quality control, CAD/CAM/CIM, tooling, machine components, warehouse equipment and factories, material recycling, research and development and many others.
It is worth noting the proactive approach of technology suppliers, who in recent years have been trying to secure the future of the industry through innovation, efficiency and adaptability. “If changes are coming at you fast, you have to come up with their solutions even faster,” says Evelyn Warwick, director of the EuroBLECH event, on behalf of RX. “The integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning is revolutionizing the industry, enabling unprecedented levels of accuracy and efficiency. Automation and robotics continue to evolve, streamlining manufacturing processes and reducing manual labor, while the Internet of Things connects machines and systems for real-time monitoring and optimization. Presented at this year’s EuroBLECH, these innovations underline the industry’s commitment to meet the growing demands for customization, sustainability and smart manufacturing.”

A unique visitor journey to “The Power of Productivity” station

In addition to thousands of exhibits and supplier representatives in the exhibition halls, the 2024 fair offers visitors a huge range of opportunities to get to know the innovations in person, including new Pro­hlí­dek s prů­vod­cem on topics such as “Automation and Robotics” and “Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)” to optimize production efficiency. Favourite Fórum přednášečích in addition, it brings practical insights and knowledge on current key topics such as “Automation, Robotics and Cobots” in Forum I and “Digitalization, Industrial Metaverse (AI, VR, AR, IIoT) and Cybersecurity” in Forum II. The prestigious “EuroBLECH Awards” will be awarded to five winners for outstanding achievements in technical excellence and innovation. Careers Day is again held on Friday, supporting young talent in the industry.

Opening hours and tickets

EuroBLECH 2024 takes place from October 22 to 25, 2024 at the exhibition center in Hannover, Germany, in halls 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 26 and 27. Access for visitors is via entrances West 1, West 2, Nord 1, Ost 3 and Süd 1. Daily opening hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Re­gis­tra­ce, Pro­dej­na vstu­pe­nek a Accreditation for media are now open. A one-day ticket costs 39 euros and a permanent ticket costs 70 euros (valid for all four days of the fair). Other ticket options include a Guided Tour (€25), the official fair catalog (€44) and free entry for students and apprentices to Careers Day on Friday 25 October (available on site on presentation of a valid student ID).
