EuroNASCAR: Good presence of the Greek Thomas Krasonis at the two-day race in Oschersleben

The two-day competition at the Oschersleben track in Germany has ended for Thomas Krasonis. In Saturday’s first race in the PRO category, Krasonis started from the last position on the grid, due to a mechanical problem with his car in qualifying. However, not only was he not disappointed, but driving impressively in the race, he managed to enter the top ten, finishing ninth and gaining valuable points. Krasonis: “Very important points ahead of the big final”

Thomas Krasonis was particularly satisfied both with his competitive presence and with the points collected from the matches in Oschersleben.

“Before the races at the German circuit I said that it was going to be a very important two days of racing, as we would have the opportunity to collect a lot of points precisely because in the semi-finals and finals the points count double. The truth is that the weekend started for us with bad luck in Saturday’s qualifying in the PRO class. But in the races, things went extremely well and we managed to place in very good positions both on Saturday and Sunday in both categories. Our distance from the top has decreased and we are now focusing our attention on the final of Zolder in October, where we will give everything in order to achieve our big goal this year” emphasized Thomas Krasonis.

He went on to say: “I want to thank my team, Marko Stipp Motorsport, who prepared the car perfectly for the weekend’s races. Of course, special thanks to Alon Day, who in the days of testing leading up to the race, showed me everything I needed to do to get these results. We are returning to Greece to intensify our preparation in view of the last two days of competition on October 12 and 13 in Belgium”.
