“Quite substantial financing is coming for the South-East and North-East regions of Romania, where until now financing has been carried out only for micro-enterprises. Calls for small and medium-sized enterprises, including micro-enterprises, are to be opened. Micro-enterprises will be able to open businesses, and small and medium-sized enterprises will have the opportunity to develop in the urban environment,” he said.
Ambrozie Ţurcanu detailed the financing lines and the eligible areas and emphasized that there are several areas for which you can apply for the mentioned programs, but the “star” will be the production area.
“Grants of 1.5 million will be available. euro that can be accessed in the Southeast region and 1 mil. euro for the North-East region. The eligible fields are, for the most part, production, and when we talk about services, we can mention medical, tourism, construction. So, these programs finance a multitude of fields. However, the way the scoring grid is structured on these programs favors production in particular.”
