Foreign. A recent study by the Ukrainian sociology institute KIIS shows that one in three Ukrainians is prepared to give up territory to Russia if it would mean an end to the war. Reuters reports.

The study was conducted between May 12 and 22 and included responses from 1,067 people.

According to the survey, 55 percent of respondents are against ceding territory to Russia, while a significant minority of around 33 percent would consider doing so in order to achieve peace.

This attitude marks a clear change compared to July 2023, when only about 10 percent of respondents were willing to give up territory.
