“Everyone goes outside”: the doctor explained why outdoor training is better than indoor training

Russians were told about the benefits of playing sports outdoors. According to Moscow doctor Andrei Tyazhelnikov, training on the street and workout grounds is in no way inferior to indoor training and even has a number of advantages.

A doctor in conversation with the agency “Moscow“explained that during physical activity outdoors, more oxygen enters the body. This “helps not only improve the functioning of all organs and systems of the body, but also helps fight insomnia,” said the chief freelance specialist in primary health care for adults at the Moscow Department of Health.

In addition, training in the fresh air is easier than in the gym. Tyazhelnikov clarified that the blood pressure and pulse of those training outdoors are lower than those of those who play sports indoors.

In addition, street training provides the body with “sunny” vitamin D, the specialist added. He also recalled that light and regular exercise is necessary to reduce the percentage of fat deposits in the body.
