Russian coach Valery Ovchinnikov reacted to Zenit’s defeat in the tenth round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL) from Krasnodar.
“The whole problem is in Zenit itself.” Everything is good in the team, the only bad thing is that there are too many Brazilians. The overseas guys dictate their gaming policy. A loss in Krasnodar is not a champion’s game,” Ovchinnikov quotes Betonmobile.
The meeting in Krasnodar ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the hosts. The Bulls broke a 12-game streak without a win against Zenit in the RPL and a 16-game streak without a clean sheet against the St. Petersburg team. Thus, Murad Musaev’s team displaced the blue-white-blues from the first line of the tournament table.
It was previously reported that Zenit will play an international friendly match during the FIFA pause.
