Millions around the globe were excited, laughed and even cried under the spell of the adventures in the brain of eleven-year-old girl Riley Andersen in the animated hit “Inside Out.” The amazing story about a child’s conflicting feelings was touching and amusing. Different characters live in Riley’s head, each embodying different feelings. Many had doubts as to whether a sequel could match the quality of the original. She can.

“Everything’s Inside Out 2” doesn’t offer a bland rehash. The story about Riley continues effectively. The already familiar embodiments of joy, sorrow, fear, anger and disgust are now joined by doubt, envy, ennui alias boredom or zero interest and embarrassment. And: Riley turns 13 and enters puberty. It’s clear that it’s going to be turbulent – now on Disney+.
