Evia: “I took my son injured 3 times from kindergarten”

A mother’s complaint about the frequent abuse of her 4-year-old child by two of his classmates in a kindergarten in Evia is shocking, as she reports on enikos.gr that she received him within a period of 25 days, three times visibly injured on his face, in hand and on his side.

The 4-year-old student is said to be frequently attacked by two specific children in the kindergarten, as a result of which he no longer wants to go to school, fearing that he will once again be a victim of abuse by his classmates. “Every day he complains to me about the situation and tells me “mom I don’t want to go to school because they beat me”while yesterday (16/10), he told me that they are also touching his genitals and laughing. Personally, I will not send him back to school until the situation changes.”

According to what the mother of the 4-year-old student reported to enikos.gr, the first time she picked him up injured from the kindergarten was on September 24, the second time on October 8, and the third time yesterday, October 16. “It is about two children who generally create issues at school and they bother, hit, push, bite my son’s other classmates as well as him. When I first saw him with the injuries, I was not told anything by the school. In the other two cases I was told that he fell and hit. They’re not telling me the truth, maybe they don’t want to admit the reality.”

The fact that although other parents are complaining about the behavior of the two specific children in the kindergarten makes a particular impression. “There are other classmates of my son who are being attacked. I mentioned all this to the school but they wouldn’t admit anything. And for this reason, they do not proceed with any relevant information.”

In fact, the mother of the four-year-old, posted photos of his injuries on her personal Facebook accountwhich are evident both on his face, as well as on his hands and sides and he wrote: “School’s over, anyway, you’re not even capable of providing transportation for the students, let alone keeping them safe!!”

«When I posted the photos, I was called by the police and I recorded what was happening. I explained that I do not wish to proceed with a lawsuit, nor the prosecution of the children’s parents. These are young children who are certainly not to blame for their behavior. I don’t want them to be isolated, what I’m asking is for some recommendation to be made, but also for the parents to be informed about the situation. I can no longer risk my child, primary education and the Ministry of Education must take their responsibilities”.
