Instead of a bow for the end of another successful business year, EWM Austria organized an event for its distributors from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary and Austria to familiarize themselves with the new welding process, EWM React (REversing Actively Controlled Transfer) in its distribution- promotional center in Eberstalcel.

As an announcement of new products and welding processes expected in 2025, the German manufacturer of welding equipment from Mindersbach continued to apply a more dynamic approach to the market with a more organized visual identity with EWM React.
Automation will certainly be more of a focus of this manufacturer in the coming period, and considering that the search for trained staff is still prevailing throughout Europe, this technological solution represents one of the answers to the given problem.
EWM React is a short arc welding process that is very stable, provides significantly increased welding speed with reduced heat input. What’s also great is that material distortion is minimal and the deposition rate is improved, again resulting in a 100% higher welding speed (than with a standard short arc).
At the same time, it was also achieved maximum arc ignition stability u obe varijante REACT-a (EWM REACT Speed i EWM REACT Positionweld).

This welding process was developed for welding applications thin sheets (0.8 – 3.0mm), which are made of high alloy (CrNi), non-alloyed steel or aluminumwhen working with welding consumables that are difficult for subsequent post-processing (hard to process SZW).
Industries for the production of containers, furniture, control cabinets, the industry of food production equipment, the production of cranes, trailers and rail vehicles will be able to find a special application of this welding process, which will allow them to fully benefit from the advantages of this technological solution.
