Former lawyer and controversial ex-politician Aldis Gobzemswho left Latvia, probably changed his name. According to open information, he will now be called Toro Arigo. A. Gobzems himself, or, probably, now Torro, did not comment on the changes. However, J. Liepnieks’ statement is confirmed by information from the public database of declarations of civil servants provided by the State Revenue Service.
A database search of the name “Aldis Gobzems” reveals a person named Arigo Toro, whose professional information matches the information about Gobzems. In particular, both were board members of the political party Katram un Katrai and have similar family ties.
