There was a large crowd on Christmas day at the ski center of Parnassos and in Arachova, with vehicles literally stuck on the road from Livadi Parnassos to Arachova.

The nearly five-kilometre-long traffic jam in this area is due to many drivers not having provided chains with them, with the result that several cars have even gone off the road due to slippery ice.

Also severe traffic problems were created at Stavros Arachovas, on the road to and from the Parnassos ski resort, when four cars got stuck in the snow.
Snow plows are trying to keep the road open as hundreds of cars are now returning from the ski resort.
It is noted that Arachova is.. overwhelmed not only by the falling snow but also by the people who have visited the popular destination this year during the holidays, with hotel units reporting that they have 100% occupancy.
