EXPO 2027: Selected architects for the creation of the master plan

The EXPO 2027 project in Surčino received key actors for the creation of a master plan on an area of ​​810,000 square meters. The company Expo 2027 doo hired a group of bidders consisting of Danilo Dangubić Architects, Studio for new media Galerija 12 and Ernst&Young Consulting for the realization of the architectural plan of this important international event. The value of the contract is 520.9 million dinars, which is approximately 4.4 million euros.

Although it is the offer exceeded the estimated valueit was decided to accept it because it was assessed as marketable, writes the portal eKapija. The selected team of architects will work on the project during the next three years, and their task will be the integration of space for the EXPO complex, which will cover an area of ​​81ha.

The spatial scope of this project includes the central location for the EXPO event, with an area of ​​330,000m²of which 100,000m² be reserved for participant in the pavilion. In addition, the plan includes EXPO sealwhich will house facilities for the accommodation of visitors and participants, as well as accompanying facilities such as EXPO service and EXPO parking.

The main location, known as EXPO Site, will be dedicated to the realization of the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027 on 33 hectares. Thematic pavilions, exhibition spaces, event zones, commercial spaces and supporting infrastructure will be built on that surface.
