A Serbian military vehicle collided with a civilian car near Kraljevo in central Serbia on Saturday, killing five people, including three children, a local hospital said. TASR informs about it according to the AFP news agency.

The Ministry of Defense said the accident occurred “during routine duties” when the self-propelled mobile anti-aircraft system was traveling in a convoy escorted by military police.

“According to initial reports, they are injured and dead in the accident,” the ministry said without elaborating.

The director of the general hospital in Kraljevo, Zoran Mrvic, told state media that five people, including three children, had died, and another person was in serious condition. The Ministry of Defense announced that an investigation into the accident is underway.
