A video and images published by Survival International shows extremely rare poses with an indigenous tribe that lives without contact with other people in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest.

In the video, a group of dozens of people belonging to Mashco Piro appears on the bank of a river, near the places that the logging companies have concessions.

The Mascho Piro are a tribe of hunter-gatherers who live in remote forest regions and are said to have never met outsiders.

Another rare image of this tribe was last captured in September 2007 by a group of environmentalists. They were flying over the Alto Purús National Park with a helicopter.

The group has camps near the Las Piedras River, close to the Peru-Brazil border. According to Survival International, the Mashco Piro also do not communicate with local tribes such as the Yine or others.
