Exynos 2500 Spotted on Geekbench with More CPU and GPU Cores

Exynos 2500, which Samsung is currently working on, has been the subject of various discussions since the beginning of the year. The company confirmed the existence of the chipset last August. However, analysts claimed in their reports that the new platform could not offer high performance and efficiency as desired.

Samsung plans to use the Exynos 2500 chipset, which it is still working on, in the Galaxy S25 series. For this reason, the chipset must provide at least as much performance as Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

More powerful Exynos 2500 appeared on Geekbench

New chipset appearing in Geekbench databaserevealed that Exynos 2500 has higher performance. The chipset, listed with the model code S5E9955, has 2 more main cores. The chipset has a total of 3 Cortex-X925 CPU cores running at 2.59 GHz, 5 Cortex-A725 running at 2.25 GHz and two Cortex-A520 CPU cores running at 1.75 GHz.

The upgrade in the chipset does not stop there, it is also reflected in the Xclipse 950 GPU, which was designed jointly with AMD. The new GPU now has 2 more cores.

We do not yet know whether Samsung is developing this new Exynos 2500 version for the Galaxy S25 series or for tablets or laptops. However, we should also point out that if the chipset produced with the 3nm process has high efficiency, it will not pose any obstacle to its inclusion in smartphones.
