In the first free tests that took place a little while ago, the Monegasque pilot of Ferrari, Charles Leclerc, was faster than the drivers of McLaren, who is claiming this year’s constructors’ world title. The Monegasque with a time of 1:21.953 was faster than Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. Leclerc’s time was even faster than the 1.24.311 set by Max Verstpappen during the race in 2023. Carlos Sainz and Yuki Tsunoda rounded out the top five.

The Dutchman may have won the 4ththe His World Title but in the manufacturers nothing is over.

Points leader McLaren has 608 points. Ferrari follows in 2nd place with 584 points. In 3rd place is Red Bull Racing with 555 points. The difference between the 1st team and the 3rd is only 53 points. And the gap between McLaren and Ferrari is 24 points. It makes sense for Ferrari to give it their all and “grab” the title from McLaren who is ahead.
