After the timing of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, as usual, the three fastest drivers go to an interview room, where the fastest drivers can answer more journalists’ questions in front of the F1 cameras. Among them was Max Verstappen, who sprained his ankle at just such an event on Thursday and was punished for swearing.

Due to the series of nonsensical events, Verstappen also changed his strategy: the Dutchman of Red Bull strove for the absolute minimum in the mandatory TV round. He gave one-word or one-sentence answers, which Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton watched with smiles on their faces.

When Verstappen was asked how he got the most out of the car, the three-time champion told the journalist that “those questions should be asked outside the room.”

The Dutchman kept his word at the end of the press conference: he was surrounded by a group of journalists, speaking only to them in detail about the day – this can also be seen in the opening picture. Verstappen thereby kicked up the F1 schedule, which the series is hardly happy about. It is important to add that the problem was not induced by F1, but by the International Automobile Association and its president, so it is conceivable that there will be some tension between the two organizations because of this.
