Facelift for Opel Mokka – the small SUV has been updated with new technologies

Opel has unveiled the update for its B-segment SUV. The car gets a redesigned front end and a new multimedia system.

The smallest SUV in the range of the German manufacturer has received a series of aesthetic updates, but also a new, more modern multimedia system.

The second generation Opel Mokka was launched in 2020, and now it’s time for a facelift, with which Opel wants to boost sales of this model. Thus, the small class model enjoys a series of updates by the end of 2024.

On the outside, Opel slightly redesigned the front, so now the horizontal intake is thinner and longer. Above it sits the defining element for all new Opel models, namely the famous Visor, which incorporates the headlights and front grille in glossy black plastic.

With this facelift, the fog lights integrated into the bumper disappear. Opel says the new front end helps streamline the Mokka’s aerodynamics.

The new Opel Mokka will have a starting price of 26,740 euros

The innovations continue inside, where the Opel Mokka receives a new, flattened steering wheel. Two 10-inch screens are offered as standard. One is used for the digital instrument cluster, and the other, which is a new screen and offered as standard, displays the interface of the multimedia system, which has also been updated.

The new version of the multimedia system found in the Opel Mokka also includes more precise voice commands, thanks to the integration of ChatGPT into the car’s system. The center console has also been redesigned and contains fewer physical buttons. Only the transmission selector, driving modes and electronic parking brake remained on this one.

On the console we will find storage spaces and a wireless charging pad for phones, as well as two cup holders, plus the central armrest.

Prices for the new Opel Mokka start at 26,740 euros in Germany.
