There is no evidence
Judging by the viral screenshot, Musk allegedly posted an edited image of the $1 bill, then shared his own message an hour later, adding a caption about Volodymyr Zelensky.
However, neither of these two messages are available in the entrepreneur’s verified account on social network X.
Also, Musk’s profile picture is different from the one shown in the fake screenshot.
It’s also important to note that Russian propagandists are sharing a single screenshot of this message, which raises suspicions as at least 35.4 million people have seen the posts. users (in total, E. Musk has more than 200 million followers on the X network).
So, if such a message was actually published, it would likely not only get reactions from netizens, but also a lot of different screenshots.
The message was mostly reported by Russian-speaking sources, where it appeared before English-language accounts started sharing it.
No reliable source in the US or Ukraine described her, although such a mockery would undoubtedly have caused an uproar in the information spaces of both countries.
