Family Picnicthe Halloween edition, organized by Social Momsturned Izvor Park into a magical place, where fun and joy were the order of the day. The event gathered more than 25,000 participants, parents and children of all ages, in a day full of creative activities, games and memorable moments, all inspired by the atmosphere specific to the Halloween holiday.
A diverse program for the whole family
The little ones enjoyed numerous fun and educational activities, from creative workshops such as carving pumpkins, slime, sand drawings, painting on plaster figurines and experiments with dry ice, a workshop to create ghosts or marionettes, to sports sessions and movement coordinated by World Class. The little ones were delighted by the performances on stage, including the artistic moments offered by the Children’s Opera, the Ion Creangă Theater and the Qfeel Theater School, the dance demonstrations with the Academy of Champions and the gymnastics performances of the CS Ritimica and Jolie Sport Club clubs.
Alina Sorescu and her children’s band Picii lu‘ Soreasca they animated the atmosphere with a super concert, where the little ones, but also the big ones, sang together the most beloved songs about childhood, friendship and love.
Some of the most appreciated activities were the contests, where both children and parents had the opportunity to win surprise prizes: “The Baby Race” with Sudocrem – where the smallest participants competed in walking the first bus; “Witches’ hats” with Dr. Phyto – the children tested their skill at throwing hoops; “Sack jumping” with Urgo; “Musical chairs” with Toni and Mera; “Broom vs pumpkin” – where the little ones got up to speed rolling the pumpkins. Also, the Halloween treasure hunt brought a lot of energy and joy among the little ones, who competed in searching for the pumpkins hidden around the park.
The event partners organized many free activities at their stands.
BIC Kids brought creativity to another level through exciting activities such as temporary tattoos with Tattoo Markers, workshops to make colorful Halloween masks, and the prize for the cutest Halloween pumpkins.
At the stand Mercedes-Benz Vans, the little ones learned the traffic signs, played with the giant puzzle and drew, while the parents participated in the car safety workshop held by Dan Cruceru, aka Taticool.
NN has organized Halloween-themed drawing workshops and prize competitions, ensuring fun for the whole family.
The children were excited about the creative workshop offered by Poli Pepe, where they had the opportunity to create funny characters and learn new arts&crafts techniques.
Adeomed turned little ones into doctors for a day, giving them an interactive experience about the human body and the role of a doctor.
Sugus and Papi Chocolate Bear they brought sweet smiles and lots of good cheer, welcoming children in their Halloween costumes with delicious surprises.
At the corner Magnapharm, the little ones enjoyed face painting, turning into their favorite characters, but also meeting the lion URGO.
An event for education, fun and family connection
Dan Cruceru aka Taticool, the host of the event and the coolest dad ever, livened up the atmosphere throughout the day, making sure that every moment spent at Family Picnic it’s a special one. In addition to recreational activities, the event provided an opportunity for children to develop their creative skills and learn new things in an interactive and engaging way.

With over 20,000 participants in the previous edition, Family Picnic continues to be a reference event for families in Bucharest who want to spend quality time outdoors. The Halloween edition brought a new level of excitement and engagement from the audience, contributing to the success of this initiative to combine fun with education and strengthen family bonds.
