American actress Erica Ash died at the age of 46. The sad news was confirmed by her family.
A grieving mother
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister and friend, Erica Chantal Ash (1977-2024). After a long and courageous battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.” she said for TMZ her mom Diann Ash.
“Erica was a wonderful woman and a talented entertainer who touched countless lives with her quick wit, humor and genuine zest for life. Her memory will live forever in our hearts,” added the worried mother, urging people to support organizations focused on the fight against breast cancer.
A rich career
Erica Chantal Ash was an American actress, comedian, singer and model. She was born in Florida, but since both her parents served in the military, they moved frequently. Erica spent part of her life in Germany, for example.
She was the star of the American sketch series MadTV, she also starred in the comedy Scary Movie 5 and a number of other films. The last time viewers could see her was last year, when she appeared in the horror comedy We Have a Ghost.
