FCSB, at dog training in the Romanian Cup

After losing 2-0 in the championship match played at the National Arena in front of FCSB, the Dinamo players waited with great hopes for the match in stage 1 of the group stage of the Romanian Cup, in order to get revenge.

The disappointment of the red-and-white fans in Şoseaua Ștefan cel Mare at the end of the red-blue monologue in the second half was huge, because the first ended without goals.

The much-dreamed-of rematch turned into a nightmare for Zeljko Kopic’s side, crushed 4-0 in 45 minutes. Initially, Gigi Becali had announced that he would only send goalkeeper Târnovanu to the field among the starters, those in the field being the players who had scored four goals in Glasgow plus Vlad Chiricheș.

But, surprise, if the bottom line followed exactly the names announced before the match, in the middle the situation changed and Darius Olaru, Adrian Șut and Florin Tănase appeared and in attack Daniel Bîrligea instead of Daniel Popa. They simply asked the second Mihai Pintili to communicate to the patron coach their desire to be on the field, something accepted by Becali, who liked this zeal.

Unfortunately, Darius Olaru suffered a muscle tear during a sprint and went to Belgrade, where he tried a miraculous cure and time at the healer Marijana Kovacevic. He will certainly miss the weekend, in Craiova, but the problem is whether he can be recovered for next Thursday, when FCSB will play at home in the Europa League against the Danes from Midtjylland.

Olaru was replaced by Alex Băluță and he was going to be the dogs’ nightmare. It was the best match of the Oltean at FCSB, a match through which, normally, Băluță should enter the views of the selector Mircea Lucescu.

Băluță, a real silver lining, scored an author’s goal, but he also provided two formidable assists to the successes of Luis Phelipe and to the first goal scored by Marius Ștefănescu. Băluță’s entrance produced a moment of great hilarity in the stadium as a result of the mocking way in which Dinamo’s announcer (the dogs being the organizers), actor Ștefan Știucă, made the announcement: Now coach Gigi Becali makes the first change. Baluță will enter instead of the Belgian Baeten.

The delegated administrator of Dinamo, Andrei Nicolescu, was very disturbed and promised that harsh sanctions will be taken against the author of unacceptable behavior. Let’s also note Marius Ștefănescu’s double as well as the first goal for FCSB by the Brazilian Luis Phelipe, both with solid performances.
