FCSB managed a precious draw in the Czech Republic with Sparta Prague, score 1-1, in the preliminaries of the Champions League, but the dispute was left with serious injuries in the camp of the Romanian champions.
Darius Olaru, William Baeten and David Miculescu left the field injured in the second half of the tour match, and Mihai Stoica, the manager from FCSB, came with details about the situation of the injured in Elias Charalambous’ team.
FCSB has a full infirmary after the tour with Sparta Prague. What is happening with Baeten, Miculescu and Olaru
Meme Stoica, the president of the FCSB Board of Directors, announced the nature of the injuries faced by Darius Olaru, William Baeten and David Miculescu after Sparta Prague – FCSB 1-1. If in the case of captain Darius Olaru it seems that it is only about fatigue, the other two have more serious injuries.
“Potter is fine. He makes a superhuman effort. It’s amazing to tell a player to stop running so much. We need Olaru 100 minutes. Baeten has a sprain, and Miculescu has a kick in the thigh, a kick that you can’t put your foot down after. A strong blow can also produce a fibrillar injury, but I don’t think so, I hope not”, said Mihai Stoica, at primasport.ro.
Gigi Becali thought that one of the injured was faking it and kicked him
Immediately after the final whistle of the game in Prague, Gigi Becali analyzed the game of his team. At one point he also reached David Miculescu’s performance, which the red-blue boss says left much to be desired.
Moreover, Becali suspected the attacker of Elias Charalambous that he was injured to be replaced at the end of the match with Sparta. However, Miculescu’s injury was not a fictitious one, and the player had really been hit.
“Miculescu, at 22 years old, to say that you can no longer… You are 22 years old, play, me! You throw yourself down and don’t say you can’t do it anymore, I didn’t see him injured. He told those on the sidelines that he couldn’t do it anymore. This is how football is played?!”, declared the landowner from Pipera.
