DAPURPACUID – Federal Oil consistently continues to coordinate and identify with related parties in uncovering ‘naughty’ workshops or sellers.
This expression has emerged again because many workshops still distribute lubricants that do not meet specifications. On that basis, Federal Oil will suffer losses.
This time, Federal Oil followed up on reports from the public in Central Java by uncovering three workshops that were distributing Federal Oil products that did not meet specifications and were different from those marketed officially.
For your information, previously a similar case also occurred in the Jakarta and Banten areas in May 2024, and Federal Oil managed to reveal it.
A total of around 37 cartons of Federal Oil products that did not meet specifications were found in three workshops in the area, namely Aldi Motor and Berkah Jaya Motor in Purwokerto, and Purnama Motor in Purbalingga.
The three workshops were proven to be selling Federal Oil products that did not meet specifications after checking the products through a laboratory with related parties.
On the other hand, Federal Oil also regularly coordinates and provides outreach with the Indonesian Lubricants Association (ASPELINDO), regarding the dangers of using lubricants that do not meet specifications.
Market Development General Manager of PT ExxonMobil Lubricants Indonesia, Rommy Averdy Saat said, this effort was made to minimize the circulation of lubricants that do not meet specifications.
“Because it is still widely distributed in the country’s lubricant market with the promise of cheaper prices,” said Rommy, in his written statement, Friday (15/11).
According to him, the use of lubricants that do not meet specifications is not only detrimental to the Federal Oil brand, but can also be detrimental to consumers because it causes the engine to overheat easily or even break down.
“Even damage to the components in the machine, if used for a long period of time, can cause the machine to fail,” added Rommy further.
Federal Oil is committed to supporting various efforts to eradicate lubricant products that do not meet specifications in the Indonesian lubricant market, in order to provide a sense of security and comfort to consumers.
“We encourage people to buy Federal Oil products at our partner workshops, namely the nearest Federal Oil Center or official stores on the marketplace,” he concluded.
As is known, Federal Oil is currently running the ‘Comfortable Prizes 2024’ program, by providing thousands of attractive prizes for loyal consumers who use Federal Oil oil.
Running until the end of December 2024, the presence of this lottery program is to provide consumers with a sense of comfort while using Federal Oil lubricants that are of high quality and meet specifications.
In this program, Federal Oil provides prizes such as Yamaha XMAX 250 cc and Honda PCX 160 cc motorbikes, iPhone 15, precious metals and electronic vouchers.
The drawing is held twice every month. The main requirement is to purchase Federal Matic products. (dpid/TH)
