On Wednesday (13/11) the 30-year-old alleged perpetrator of the murder of the 41-year-old woman in Agrinio is expected to be brought before the prosecutor.
According to information, a case will be filed against him for murder with intent and illegal possession of weapons.
At the same time, the local community of Agrinio is upset, while there are fears of possible retaliation from the relatives of the bereaved mother of three, whose funeral will take place today in her hometown, Dokimi Etoloakarnania.
His sister played a decisive role
His sister, who was instrumental in his surrender, described the dramatic moments leading up to his disarmament. According to her words, the perpetrator approached her while he was also armed with a knife. After calming him down, she convinced him to hand over the gun, which he was still carrying, to the authorities.
During the night, the 30-year-old was hiding around his father’s house, near the village Myrtle. He reportedly found temporary shelter in a remote church and then moved across the fields, seeking refuge in warehouses.
The murder took place on Monday night, when the assailant shot his 43-year-old ex-partner and mother of three in the abdomen from point-blank range. The security cameras recorded him leaving immediately afterwards in his car towards Myrtia. Police located his vehicle near his home, where they found one box full of cartridges, while he himself remained elusive.
Throughout the evening, the authorities “combed” the area to locate him. Finally, shortly after one in the afternoon, the 30-year-old was taken by a strong police force to Agrinio Security, where he is being held.
They were shouting at him to surrender
His sister narrated what preceded the arrest of the 30-year-old: “I was constantly at the window all night. At one point I saw him outside on the green and I said to my mother “it’s Andreas”. We went down too fastshouting “surrender”. My mother went a little further down, tried to catch it weapon even if he took it from him, he didn’t succeed. He didn’t come home. He came to see him but he told us “soon I will die, because I insulted my family, a person was lost. I couldn’t believe it for hours and hours”. He thought we were kidding him, he didn’t know he wasn’t alive. “Call her now so I can talk to her.” He was remorseful for his act because he wanted to kill himself. “And she’s dead and so am I” .

He told me it was over at the baths in an old church that I didn’t even remember. He told me to go do it, because the cops will finish me off. I told him they won’t bother you, I’ll be a shield in front of you. I told him that my daughter is waiting to see him. As soon as he realized it he said I want to blow my brains out. “I am a murderer, I did evil.” He was hitting his head with the gun. The 30-year-old had been arrested for domestic violence
The 30-year-old, as enikos.gr had written, had been arrested for domestic violence on September 6, and in fact three weapons had been taken away from him at that time. His arrest at the time had taken place in the context of the autoforo.
A trial had been set against him for November 15 and restrictive conditions and protective measures had been issued to prevent him from approaching the victim, conditions which – it seems – he did not respect and finally set up a cartel on Dora and killed her in cold blood.

According to information from enikos.gr, the 43-year-old woman, who was shot in the abdomen and breathed her last in the hospital, before being picked up by the EKAV ambulance, reportedly said “my ex shot me.”
The 43-year-old, according to information, had not asked for the panic button application to be placed on her mobile phone, nor had she also asked to be accommodated in some structure.
EL.AS was informed of the incident at 19:35, when the DIAS team also arrived at the scene and found the unfortunate woman and mother of three children, covered in blood and next to her car. According to information, the vehicle of the alleged perpetrator was located in the area of Myrtia, Thermo Etoloakarnania, while EL.AS. has launched a manhunt to locate the 30-year-old.
Dora’s funeral on Wednesday
As tempo24 reports, the Wednesday November 13th at 11am relatives and friends of the family will say their last goodbyes to the bereaved mother of three.
The funeral service will be held at the Holy Church of Agios Ioannis.

According to STAR, in messages that the 30-year-old exchanged with a girlfriend, he admitted that he wanted to end his life because of the separation.
