Foreign. German Green Youth president Jette Nietzard, 26, has found herself at the center of a heated debate after posting a bikini photo on Instagram on New Year’s Eve.
The picture on Instagram immediately received sharp criticism from AFD politician Fabian Kübel.
Kübel shared a screenshot of the image on his X profile and wrote:
“Leftist women who call themselves feminists and accuse men of sexualizing them but post such things.”
His posts have reached over 463,000 people and received both support and criticism.
Many have reacted strongly to Kübel’s statement, which several describe as disrespectful and misogynistic. “Influencer” Louisa Dellert commented:
“Everyone who votes for AFD also chooses misogynistic values. The good Fabian has now confirmed that again.”
Jette Nietzard herself responded to the attack by sharing Dellert’s post and adding:
“Surprise, I have a body.”
But the ensuing attention has also led to a massive wave of criticism against her from other internet users.
