Formula 1 Ferrari cars travel in Iveco vehicles; commercial trucks and vans of this Turin brand will transport the cars and equipment of the famous “jumping horse” on the racetracks. Fifteen Iveco S-Way trucks and one Daily van have become part of the fleet of the Turin brand within Scuderia Ferrari HP, with the aim of transporting racing cars and equipment of the Formula 1 team to the tracks of the world championship.
The fleet will also be joined by eDaily, an electric double of the famous Daily model, which will facilitate logistics activities in the factory. Iveco, already an official partner of Scuderia Ferrari HP and an official sponsor of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe, solemnly handed over the keys to the vehicle during a ceremony held at the Ferrari circuit in Fiorano, in the presence of Carlotta Mathis, Iveco Director of Strategy and Marketing, Massimiliano Perri, Iveco Manager for Italy, and Diego Ioverno, sporting director of Scuderia Ferrari. In their comments, Iveco management reiterated that Ferrari and Iveco have a strong cooperative relationship that has lasted for more than twenty years.
Fifteen Iveco S-Way trucks and a Daily van, each with a special decoration in an exclusive shade that characterizes the vehicles of the Formula 1 team, expand the Iveco fleet of Scuderia Ferrari HP and will be used to transport Formula 1 equipment and vehicles to the race tracks of the world championship. By the end of the year, the eDaily (electric Daily) will also become part of the fleet and will be used to facilitate logistics activities at the Scuderia Ferrari HP factory.
True to its commitment to sustainable transport, which began almost 20 years ago through a pioneering approach to the development of natural gas vehicles, Iveco promotes progress towards zero emissions by exploring the potential of all available technologies and fuels, in order to offer customers customized solutions. The sixteen vehicles delivered to Ferrari were designed to reduce emissions without compromising on performance, reliability and capacity.
