Today we show you a 1:8 scale replica of the Ferrari Purosangue, which Amalgam Collection has custom-configured for the client. The model was given to him by an American customer, who wanted to take home a smaller-sized version of his real car, whose specifications were perfectly reproduced. This was made possible by the Bespoke program of the English atelier to whom the work is owed.
Like the Ferrari Purosangue whose features it mimics, the 1:8 scale model is finished in Azzurro California with Orbit Grey Diamond Cut Forged wheels. The cockpit is also meticulously recreated, with its blend of black and dark grey, paired with Sterling Blue and carbon fibre details.
We have already told you about the work base on other occasions, but we would like to highlight once again how the finesse of the Amalgam Collection workmanship, in addition to the skill of its craftsmen, also derives from the close collaboration with the Maranello company, which allows access to the original CAD projects and material specifications, for impeccable reproductions.
Amalgam Collection’s Bespoke service for 1:8 scale models allows for highly detailed results. Prices vary based on the workmanship and requests. It doesn’t take long to understand that they are for a few pockets. The problem does not arise for those who have a Ferrari Purosangue in their garage, whose list price, in Italy, is close to 400 thousand euros.
Let’s remember that the Maranello SUV is powered by a monumental 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, with 725 horsepower at the service of pleasure. The mechanical musicality is sublime, as is the performance. Do you want some dynamic figures? Here they are: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 10.6 seconds, over 310 km/h of maximum speed.
