Fiat extends for another three weeks the stoppage of production of the 500e due to low sales

Weak demand for the Fiat 500e has led Stellantis to extend its production halt for another three weeks at the Mirafiori plant in Turin.

Let me remind you that the company had announced on September 12 that from Friday September 13 and for four weeks the production of the electric Fiat 500e will be suspended due to weak demand.

The hybrid version of the 500 is expected on the market either at the end of 2025 or at the beginning of 2026 and for this purpose the company will invest 100 million euros in the Mirafiori factory to be able to manufacture the 500 Ibrida there.
