Fiat Grande Panda from Kragujevac under 20,000 euros (with subsidies)!

For the jubilee of 125 years of existence, Fiat presented the Grande Panda model

Today, in front of the most influential newsrooms in Turin, the CEO of the Stelantis Group, Carlos Tavares, celebrated the 125th anniversary of the Fiat brand.

The valuable jubilee was also increased by the official promotion of the Fiat Grande Panda model, which will be produced in Serbia as well.

As Tavares announced, the fully electric Grande Panda can be expected at a price below 25,000 euros, which means that the base model of the Grande Panda “electrician” here could cost around 18,000 euros with announced state subsidies (for the domestic model in the amount of 7,000 euros).

Grande Panda: New global player of the FIAT brand

Grande Panda marks the return of the FIAT brand to the global market. It was developed on the basis of 3 key pillars: Italian design, global platform and local relevance. Sustainability, inclusivity, simplicity and beauty are the values that brought this project to life, while the design was inspired by the iconic Panda from the 80s — the “blue ladies” of the automotive industry, something perfect for every occasion and for every customer. Therefore, this is a socially relevant car, a car for everyone.

The Grande Panda is the successor to the first Panda model, making it a new vehicle in the B segment that is affordable and suitable for the family. The price of the Grande Panda model starts below 25,000 euros for the fully electric version.

Designed in Italy at the FIAT Centro Stile in Turin, the Grande Panda uses a simple idea: a unique multi-energy platform that can be installed anywhere in the world, pure Italian design and the ability to choose the best powertrain according to the needs of customers, no matter where they are. In short, the new model represents a transition from local production to global level.

Thanks to its smart solutions and ease of use, it will be the first Panda in history belonging to the B-segment and will facilitate the driving experience of FIAT brand customers around the world.

The spiral charging cable stands out as one of the most innovative solutions, making the charging experience easier and neater than ever. The Grande Panda is the first vehicle on the market to include an integrated charging cable, which pairs with a standard onboard charger of up to 7 kW. The spiral cable has a special housing under the hood, which allows saving space in the trunk and encourages practical daily use because it is easy to handle and avoids the dirt of traditional cables. This solution stands out for its simple process: after opening the cover, the second step is to remove the cable and connect it to the charging station. When charging is complete, it can be easily returned to the case thanks to the spiral shape of the cable.

Like its predecessor, the legendary Panda from 1980, which changed the way we experience the car for more than 40 years, the Grande Panda has unexpected characteristics, as well as an innovative and intelligent use of space. In particular, the new vehicle stands out from other cars in the B segment thanks to the unique compactness made possible by its small size.

With a length of 3.99 meters, the Grande Panda is below the segment average but offers good spaciousness thanks to its compact volume: for example, the trunk has a volume of 361 liters, and the total capacity of the storage compartments located in front of the passenger is 13 liters.

In essence, the Grande Panda is the ideal companion for families and today’s urban mobility as it can transport 5 people comfortably. The Italian spirit of the new vehicle is shown through its iconic design, which is synonymous with beauty, and the exterior is characterized by a special combination of structured lines and soft but bold surfaces that emphasize the robust wheel arches. Everything is even more striking and attractive thanks to the presence of front and rear skid plates in silver, gloss-black pillars, tinted windows and 17-inch alloy wheels with Fiat logo on the covers and a striking X design.

As a tribute to the classic Panda, the Grande Panda is equipped with 3D branded letters in relief on the doors that reflect the surroundings and emphasize the lower part of the side. The Grande Pandu will be available in seven colors – red, white, black, green, brown, blue and yellow, in line with the company’s ‘No Grey’ initiative. In the interior, a special tribute is paid to the path of the Lingotto building, which inspired some elements of the interior. Namely, the dashboard, as well as the polycarbonate frame that includes the 10″ cluster and 10.25″ digital radio, have a unique style reminiscent of the shape of the Lingotto track and create a recognizable and evocative look.

Special attention has been paid to the optimization of space, which has been used in a smart way: for example, there are 13 liters of storage space on the dashboard, of which 3 liters are in just one compartment, providing plenty of storage options—a simple and ingenious solution from FIAT reminiscent of the timeless “pocket” Panda dashboard from the 1980s.

The first member of the new FIAT family will be available in electric and hybrid versions. With a 44 kWh battery and an 83 kW electric motor, the electric Grande Panda offers a range of more than 320 km in the WLTP combined cycle, making it the perfect vehicle for both daily use in the city and weekend trips.
