Play does not stop with promotions for Black Week, yesterday we informed you about an attractive promotion for iPhone 14 with a subscription, today we will look at the offer for fiber optics.
Basically, it’s about offers, because we have three options to choose from for all customers – new, existing, and extending the contract.
Fiber optics from Amazon Prime
We’re starting with the simplest and cheapest option, fiber optics included with Amazon Prime throughout the entire deal. We have three packages to choose from, but everyone will probably agree that only the middle package should be considered.
We will not pay for a subscription with a speed limit of 600 Mb/s in the first month, and from the second month the price is the same as for speed up to 300 Mb/s – PLN 55 per month. The third package also has a limit of 600 Mb/s, but it costs PLN 75 per month, and the only difference between the middle option is that we do not pay for the subscription for the first two months, so it is not calculated in any way.
Fiber optics from Netflix
If we prefer another streaming service with movies and series – Netflix, instead of access to Amazon Prime, we can choose the second option. Here we have a separate offer for existing Play customers and new ones. To simplify the entry, I will only show the one for current customers – for new customers, the prices crossed out in the screenshot below apply.
And so, for a speed of up to 300 Mb/s we will pay PLN 60 per month, together with access to Netflix – the standard price of this package is PLN 33 per month, so the cost for fiber optics alone is… PLN 27 per month. Even for new customers, this is an attractive option, because PLN 47 for fiber optics is currently the exception rather than the rule. The remaining packages are the same set, but with higher speed limits – for PLN 70 per month we have a limit of 600 Mb/s, for PLN 90 – 1 Gb/s, and for PLN 120 – 5 Gb/s.
Fiber optics with VOD services and television
The third fiber optic option in Play is also available separately for existing and new customers, but this time we will show them both because the discount is for each of these offers. We omit the speed of up to 300 Mb/s because it is unprofitable compared to the seemingly more expensive package – averaging the monthly cost over the entire contract will result in PLN 78.75 per month.
In turn, with a speed of up to 600 Mb/s, on average we will pay only PLN 60 per month, because the first year is for PLN 0. In addition to fiber optics, the set includes access to 208 TV channels and four VOD services:
- Amazon Prime
- Viaplay Medium
- Canal + Series and movies
- SkyShowtime
The more expensive package for PLN 75 per month includes, in addition to higher speeds of up to 1 Gb/s, access to 215 TV channels and three additional services: MAX, Cinemax and FilmBOX. In turn, the most expensive one for PLN 90 per month gives us fiber optic speeds of up to 5 Gb/s.
This is for existing customers, new customers will pay on average monthly for the same set respectively – for speeds up to 600 Mb/s: PLN 70 per month, for speeds up to 1 Gb/s: PLN 85 per month, and for speeds up to 5 Gb/s: PLN 100 PLN per month.
