Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that “Nazi troops” are fighting in Ukraine, but that the international community does not notice it.

– We all talk about fascism, Nazism, and at the same time we silently tolerate that troops with a very clear label, connected to movements that we consider dangerous and forbidden, are running through Ukraine. Since this is a geopolitical battle, they don’t bother anyone – Fico said during a visit to the Holocaust Museum in the Slovak city of Sered, reports TASR.

Fico pointed out that the world is full of lies, because, as he stated, “on the one hand, the international community talks about crimes, and on the other, it increasingly makes compromises that insult the position of the victims of the Holocaust and racial violence.”

– The international community must admit that it is impossible to allow troops who use Nazi symbols and who often behave accordingly to fight in Ukraine – the Slovak Prime Minister added.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced that Kiev was disappointed by the statement of the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fitz, about the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which, according to them, “contradicts the existing level of trust and cooperation between Ukraine and Slovakia.”

It is noted that Ukrainian soldiers are currently defending their neighbors, homes and country, “as well as all of Europe and the free world from the Russian invaders, marked with the Latin letters ‘Z’, a symbol, as they say, of the “fascist aesthetics of contemporary Russia”.

“For Ukrainians, opposing Russian aggression is a continuation of the history of our nation’s resistance to totalitarian regimes in the last century,” the statement said.
