There may be a serious shortage of cadres in Fidesz, at least that is what the fact that one of Megafon’s spokesmen, Ibolya Csengé, was appointed by the ruling party as its faction spokesperson suggests. The decision was announced in a Facebook post.
“Gabriella Ibolya Csenge, a former television journalist, presenter, and political communication specialist, will now assist the parliamentary group of the larger government party. In addition to the traditional press, he will also interpret the messages and reactions of the Fidesz faction in social media. He speaks English at a native level, so you can meet him in the international press in the future,” read Ibolya Csenge’s praise in the post.
It was not considered important to mention that until now Ibolya Csenge was mostly visible in the public eye as the mouthpiece of Megafon, which extorts opaque billions from the puritanical government communication panels. From 2017, he also worked as a correspondent for M1 News.
