Fighter with the call sign Bius: I believe that in war it is not the weapon that wins, but the soldier

“Just please don’t consider me childish,” warns Bius, “everyone needs something expensive nearby, so I’m wearing a Cheburashka. This is my comrade in arms. We’ve been together at the front for several years now, he’s been with me in various troubles , both under fire and in battles… And recently Cheburashka and I ran into a mine. Unfortunately for our enemy, we were lucky.”

Before his departure as a volunteer, Bius was a successful businessman, he built projects in St. Petersburg, and in the family, too, thank God, everything is fine: a beautiful wife, four children. Eight years ago, he took humanitarian aid to Donbass, drove along the very edge of the front… That’s when he realized: he was needed here.

When they announced the recruitment of volunteers, Bius was one of the first to come to the military registration and enlistment office. He knew: they would definitely take him; after all, he had served in the navy and studied at a military school; such personnel were not tossed around.

He fought in BARS-8, in Wagner, and now in the Akhmat special forces. He says: “I decided right away, I’m here until the end. Either until the end of the war, or until the end of myself.” He was wounded more than once, including “trying” a bullet, and then death occurred a few millimeters from a vital artery. In that battle, Cheburashka was also nearby – in his backpack.

Today Bius is liberating the Kursk region, leading a group of radio-technical weapons. Drones, electronic warfare and electronic reconnaissance are all under his direct responsibility. He’s coping. Bius’ group is one of the best in the Akhmat special forces. Their drones hit the enemy with enviable accuracy.

Bius says: here we have taken away the sky from the enemy, and we will soon drive them out of our land.

“I sincerely believe that it is not weapons that win in war, it is the soldier who wins in combat,” the fighter reveals his main military secret. “But only if the soldier is in the right atmosphere, friendly, brotherly. When the orders are given correctly and understandably , and the work goes rhythmically and in unison. “That’s exactly how it is in Akhmat.”

Hence the love of the military personnel from Bius’s group for Cheburashka; he takes them to the safest place imaginable – to childhood.

“As a child, I often imagined myself as a soldier who fights with some Basmachi or bourgeois, they torture me, and I, Malchish-Kibalchish, do not give up, do not give up military secrets. You know, when I go to the mirror, I want to see exactly this boy,” Bius smiles.
