Fiido C11 Pro, the eBike Commuter with an excellent price and performance ratio | Test & Review

We have recently tried and reviewed the Fiido X (2025)a super compact folding electric bicycle, easy to transport and suitable in many situations, but in that test we told you that if you were looking for an eBike with which to leave home and take long walks or go to work, a bicycle with more classic dimensions and shapes. Just like the Fiido C11 Pro, which we tell you about in this review.

The C11 Pro is a so-called “commuter”, cio is a bicycle designed for daily travel around the city. Comfortable driving position, luggage rack, mudguards, single-speed gearbox and, in the case of the Fiido, also a totally legal 250 Watt electric motor. It costs, on the list, just over 1000 eurosa price that seems totally justified considering the construction quality and the driving experience.

How it’s made

The C11 Pro is a step-through model, therefore with a low barrel which allows you to get on the saddle comfortably, essentially, suitable for anyone. It arrives at home semi-assembled, you will only have to install the front wheel, the mudguard and the front light, the pedals, the handlebars and adjust the saddle. All the accessories and keys you need for assembly are already included and well organisedand it will take you about half an hour.

The battery is inserted inside the frame, it can be easily removed and a button indicates the charging status, turning on up to 3 LEDs. Behind there is a luggage rack that can hold up to 25 kg. The rear stop is already installed, as is the stand. The only slightly poor detail on this bicycle, and in reality on many other models on the market today, concerns the mudguards: they are made of plastic, light and the mounting system consists of very light metal rods; it will be practically impossible to perfectly align the mudguard with the wheel, a shame considering the quality of the bicycle.

The saddle, a Velo model, is in brown leather, which together with the knobs gives that classic touch that doesn’t hurt, and pairs well with the dark metallic green of the frame. The grips are a model with a large support area, and the handlebar, shaped to be raised, can be further tilted / raised by acting on the attachment hub. All this is done to allow you to maintain a very relaxed driving position. The minimum saddle height is 79 cm, the maximum 105 cm. The handlebar, from the ground, has a height of 115 cm, and can be further raised by approximately 15 cm. This bike will work for people of all heights.

The motor is 250 watts, and is combined with a torque sensor. On the handlebars there is the classic on-board computer with a color LCD screen which Fiido is using for all its models. Front and rear disc brake, fairly thin 27″ tyres, classic road tyres.

User experience

Of the Fiido C11 Pro, first of all, we appreciate the comfort. Even if the saddle is not particularly padded, it is not uncomfortable, although some might want a wider or, indeed, padded model. If necessary, you can easily change it. After having adjusted the saddle and handlebars to the right height, the riding position is very relaxed, with the back straight and the arms even slightly bent. This bike will suit people of all heights, even the tallest.

Near the battery there is a power button, which you will have to press and then you can turn on the on-board computer by holding down the appropriate button. There are a total of three other buttons along with the power button: one button to change the driving mode, one to change the information on the screen and one to activate an electronic horn. A classic mechanical bell is also supplied with the bicycle, a little cheap but which does its job. We advise you to mount it because the electronic buzzer is quite loud and the noise it emits is not particularly pleasant, so you can decide to use it only when you really need to be heard. To turn on the front headlight you will have to hold down one of the function buttons, with which you can also unlock the maximum speed.

The driving modes are: “zero”, i.e. there is no engine intervention, Eco, sport and Turbo. Each activates pedaling support up to a certain speed. The torque sensor works well, and the power is delivered evenly. This means that it doesn’t happen, like other bicycles, that as soon as you start pedaling the engine pushes until you reach the preset speed, and then cuts off.. The engine is very delicate in its delivery, the more you push on the pedals the stronger the thrust, and if you pedal flat, the speed will be maintained. In short, it’s all very natural. Together with the use of the 7-speed gearbox you will always be able to maintain a relaxed pace but with good speed. The front mudguard makes itself felt when you make sharp turns, because it sticks out a little too much and you will catch it with your foot – in short, they need to do something better with these mudguards.

On the handlebar there is another lever, which looks like the accelerator, but actually activates the engine at low power and up to about 5 km per hour. It is used for when you want to move the bicycle on foot, with zero effort. The battery ensures autonomy between 70 and 100 km, based on the average speed and the mode used. Full battery charging, from 0 to 100%, takes approximately 5 hours.

Verdict: Who should buy it

The Fiido C11 Pro is one Perfect eBike for the citythe countries and all those people who want to move on two wheels as much as possible. It is very comfortable, the pedaling is natural, there is a convenient parcel rack and the only poorly looked after detail are the mudguards. The autonomy is adequate and if you maintain a slow pace, you can also aim to exceed 100 km on a single charge.

The list price is 1,099 eurosa cost that we consider adequate for what it offers. Furthermore, the brand often makes offers, so if you are interested, keep an eye on it because you could also buy it at an even lower price.
