Correio da Manhã offers a space for comments in its articles, which it considers essential for reflection, debate and free dissemination of opinions and ideas and calls on Readers to follow the basic rules of healthy coexistence and respect for others, promoting an environment of respect and fair play.

Only after carefully reading the rules below and subsequently expressly accepting will it be possible to comment on the news published in Correio da Manhã.

The possibility of making comments in this space is limited to registered Readers and Readers who subscribe to Correio da Manhã Premium (“Reader”).

By commenting, the Reader is declaring that he is the sole and exclusive holder of the rights associated with this content, and as such he is the sole and exclusive responsible for these same contents, and that he authorizes Correio da Manhã to disseminate said content, to everyone and in any available media.

The Reader will remain the owner of the content he sends to Correio da Manhã and by sending such content he grants Correio da Manhã a free, irrevocable, transferable, exclusive and perpetual license to use said content, in any support or format currently existing on the market or that may emerge.

The Reader is obliged to ensure that the contents they submit in the Correio da Manhã comment spaces are not obscene, offensive or give rise to civil or criminal liability and do not violate the intellectual property rights of third parties. The Reader undertakes, in particular, not to use the Correio da Manhã comment spaces for: (i) commercial purposes, namely, broadcasting advertising messages in the comments or in other spaces, outside those specifically intended for contracted advertising under the appropriate terms; (ii) disseminate hateful, racist, xenophobic or discriminatory content or that, in general, encourage violence or the practice of illegal acts; (iii) disseminate content that, directly or indirectly, explicitly or implicitly, has as its objective, purpose, result, consequence or intention, to humiliate, denigrate or harm the good name and reputation of third parties.

The Reader expressly acknowledges that they are exclusively responsible for paying any fines, costs, charges, fines, penalties, compensation or other amounts arising from the publication of their comments in the Correio da Manhã comment spaces.

The Reader acknowledges that Correio da Manhã is not obliged to monitor, edit or view the content or comments that are shared by Readers in their comment spaces. However, the Correio da Manhã editorial team reserves the right to carry out a pre-evaluation and not publish comments that do not respect these Rules.

Behavior

Correio da Manhã may, in case of violation of these Rules, suspend for a specific or indefinite period of time or even permanently prohibit the possibility of commenting, regardless of whether you are a subscriber to Correio da Manhã Premium or your classification.

Correio da Manhã reserves the right to immediately delete comments from Readers who do not comply with these rules without any warning or prior notification.

Correio da Manhã will automatically hide all comments one week after they are published.
