DAPURPACUID – The peak event for the biggest car modification event, BlackAuto Battle 2024, took place in the city of Surabaya on 9-10 November. Precisely in Surabaya Grand City.
Hundreds of car modifications from the two previous events (regions), including those from the City of Heroes, were also displayed and managed to amaze thousands of visitors.
“Surabaya will host the final round of this year’s modification contest,” said Boy Prabowo, representative of the organizers of BlackAuto Battle 2024, in his official broadcast, Thursday (14/11).
According to him, the enthusiasm of visitors at this year’s final was extraordinary. This is because of the presence of several new programs which are quite attractive to car enthusiasts.
In the final event, BlackAuto Battle 2024 will continue to collaborate with the APACT (Asia Pacific Car Tuning) association, in order to ensure fair and professional judging.
“The judging carried out by APACT in this event is very fair and uses measurable methods, so that the results can be accounted for in each category contested,” added Boy.
After going through a strict judging process, the following are the winners in the final round of BlackAuto Battle 2024:
● Contest Car Champ: Toyota Hiace (Batak Project)
● Black Contest Car: Nissan 200SX
● Culture Car Champ: Mercedes-Benz SLK (Auto Pilot Modified)
● Black Culture Car: Chrysler 300C (Revenge)
● Black Auto Master Culture: BMW E90 (Diora Autospace)
● Black Auto Master Contest: Toyota Camry (Tari Project)
● King of Black Contest: Nissan 200SX
● King of Black Culture: Chrysler 300C
There are two modified cars that are classified as different and managed to win the title of Blackauto Master, both BlackAuto Master Contest and Culture:
● Contest Auto Master: Toyota Camry 2007 Tari Project dari Diora Auto Space.
● Culture Auto Master: BMW E90 Stance from the Revenge Surabaya community.
In detail, the Toyota Camry Tari Project displays an elegant concept with a charming XV60 body kit. Custom front and rear lights, suicide doors and SSR Formula Mesh undercarriage with air suspension.
All these changes make the car look very attractive. The interior is no less luxurious thanks to the installation of an Android head unit and a 22 inch monitor in the trunk.
Meanwhile, the BMW E90 Stance carries a sporty concept that is simple but powerful. 18 inch Workmeister rims, swapped 2JZ-GTE engine with Garret turbo, and Brembo 6 pot big brake kit add a fierce impression to this car.
King of Black Contest and Culture
In this final round, two other cars that were no less interesting to win the King of Black title were also determined, namely:
● King of Black Contest: Nissan 200SX
● King of Black Culture: Chrysler 300C
The Nissan 200SX managed to steal the attention of the APACT judges thanks to the inclusion of the SR20DET engine, combined with a Blitz exhaust, Rocket Bunny body kit and deep gloss black color.
A touch of sporty, bold changes can also be found in the interior, which was also modified using Recaro SPG Max seats and custom floor mats.
Meanwhile, the Chrysler 300C features extreme modifications with full custom front and rear arms, a flat chassis and -3 camber on all four wheels.
The use of 22 inch Forgiato rims, BBK Brembo 8 pots at the front and 4 pots at the rear, as well as MagicAir air suspension management also enhances its appearance.
The BlackAuto Battle 2024 champions in Surabaya not only displayed extreme modifications, but also stunning small details, from color selection, body kit installation, to engine modifications, all done carefully and professionally.
This famous modification event in Indonesia has once again proven that Indonesia has many talented modifiers who are capable of producing extraordinary works.
“Hopefully this event will continue to be an inspiration for automotive fans to always be creative and produce increasingly cool car modifications!” explained Boy.
Dyno Test, Drifting Showcase, dan Black Out Loud
Apart from the modification contest, BlackAuto Battle 2024 is also enlivened with various exciting event items, such as:
● Black Auto Dyno Test: Test the strength of the car engine on the dyno.
● Drifting Showcase: Spectacular drifting action from professional drifters.
● Black Out Loud: Competition car audio system with international standards.
“What makes it different this year is that we are being presented with a new and quite interesting program, namely Drift Experiences, by inviting national drifters from Garasi Drift and Car Collectors who make thousands of Surabaya’s automotive public happy for two days,” concluded Boy.
No less interesting was the entertainment stage, where several well-known Indonesian musicians performed, starting from Geisha, Feel Koplo, DJ Maretta Frank, and Popular.
BlackAuto Battle 2024 has succeeded in becoming an entertaining and inspiring event for Indonesian automotive fans. This event also proves that the creativity of car modifications in Indonesia is increasingly developing and being recognized at the international level. (dpid/TH)
