“Also, the broker (from January 13) charges a commission for processing orders to withdraw dollars and euros. The commission for entering tenge will be 0.2%. There will be no fee for entering dollars and euros. The changes are being introduced in accordance with the new edition of the regulations for brokerage services,” follows from the Finama message.
The company’s call center operator noted in a conversation with RBC Investments that there will be no commission for processing orders when withdrawing dollars and euros to Finam Bank. When withdrawing to a third-party bank, the fee will be 0.3% of the withdrawn amount, but not less than $30 and not more than $150, in the case of euros – not less than €30 and not more than €250.
Currently, the commission for withdrawing dollars and euros to a third-party bank account is 0.3% of the withdrawn amount, said in the current version of the Finama regulations. For dollars, this amount must be no less than $30 and no more than $150, for euros – no less than €30 and no more than €250.
In addition, when withdrawing another foreign currency, Finam now charges a commission of 0.07% of the withdrawn amount, but not less than an amount equivalent to €25 and not higher than an amount equivalent to €100 at the Bank of Russia exchange rate on the day the withdrawal is executed.
In addition, from January 13 the company will start charge a fee for storing dollars and pounds sterling in a brokerage account. In both cases, when storing up to 10 thousand monetary units, it will not be charged, from 10 thousand to 100 thousand it will be 10% per annum, over 100 thousand – 6% per annum.
At the beginning of December 2024, Finam canceled a 5% commission for withdrawing yuan from a brokerage account, which has been in effect since September. The company’s call center operator clarified that currently RMB can only be withdrawn to Finam Bank, but no commission is charged either for withdrawal or for processing the order.
