Fire extinguished at waste treatment company in Cascais

The fire, which broke out this Monday night in a waste treatment company in Trajouce, Cascais, entered the resolution phase at 2:15 am, a source from Civil Protection told Lusa News Agency this Tuesday.

A source from the Greater Lisbon Sub-regional Command said that “there are no injuries”, and that rescue efforts are underway.

The alert for fire in confined debris began at 10:00 pm, when it mobilized more than 50 operators.

According to the website of the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC), at 3:40 am there were 41 operators on site, supported by 19 vehicles.
