Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have visited those affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires and emergency first responders on the front lines as flames continue to ravage the region of Southern California.
The couple visited the Pasadena Convention Center on Friday, which has been transformed into evacuation area for the victims of the “Eaton Fire” in Altandina.
They tried to remain “invisible”
The visit, according to information from the New York Post, it was not plannedand aimed to provide substantial assistance to the community while avoiding causing disruption.
Meghan and Harry wore jockey hats trying to stay “invisible”.
Help in any way and donations
Sources said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex focused on giving help in any waywithout causing any trouble because of their celebrity.
The Sussexes they talked with those affected and heard heart-wrenching stories, while at the same time witnessing the strong spirit of solidarity in the community, as reported by the attendees themselves.

Before they reached the evacuation center, Meghan and Harry had already done monetary donations through the Archewell Foundation for the relief of those affected. In addition, they offered clothing, children’s items and other needed supplies at the donation center on Friday.
The visit started with the couple to serves meals along with volunteers from Chef Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen (WCK) outside the Pasadena Convention Center, accompanied by California First Lady Jennifer Siebel Newsom.
Later, the two met Jose Andres, whose World Central Kitchen provides food to victims and first responders through mobile food stations throughout the Los Angeles area.
The Duke and Duchess expressed their appreciation to all the teams who work tirelessly to support the community.
Sources also said the couple are determined to continue supporting them recovery and reconstruction effortsand is already planning additional visits to the area.

Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo spoke to Fox 11 about the couple’s visit shortly after they left. “They didn’t come here to advertise, they came here to work”Gordo stated.

“We went to visit some of the families in the affected area and see the devastation up close”he added. “And then they wanted to visit the first responders and thank them personally for their efforts to help our families and neighbors.”.

They opened the doors of their mansion
The couple recently “opened” their villa, worth 29.5 million dollars in Montecitofor their friends who had been forced to leave their homes due to the fires.
In a message posted on their website on Thursday, Meghan and Harry urged the public to “feels the need to help” to contribute to relief efforts.
As well as listing crisis relief organizations in need of donations, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex called on those who can help to “open their homes”.
“If a friend, loved one or pet needs to evacuate and you can provide a safe haven, please do so”they said in their statement. “And be sure to check if elderly or disabled neighbors need help evacuating”.
